Each month I plan a walk open to anyone to come along. Most of walks are
located within an hours drive of Worcester and this places the majority in
Worcestershire and Herefordshire with occasional forays into Shropshire,
Gloucestershire and Warwickshire. Whatever the state of the weather the walk
will go ahead and this in the past has led to some very rewarding walks. There
is more to a walk than a fine day and it is a privilege to savour the varied
nature of our weather. Since this series of walks began on October 2003 there
has never been an occasion when it has rained all day. What planning!
Coming up in 2007 is the 50th monthly walk! Wow! how time moves on; pints all round to celebrate a succesful half century.
